The use of balloons in my work is a metaphor for the body. These sculptures display our bodies as impressionable vessels, capable of adjusting to their environment and physical space. Over time and under pressure, the balloons inevitably rupture, revealing their concealed interiors. This process powerfully expresses the fragility of both the human psyche and the human body.
