An ongoing series of watercolor paintings and drawings that evolved from the artwork Balloon Baggage. Although the drawings emerged after the sculpture, both processes are intertwined and essential. This series plays with the idea of what would happen if the bursting balloon bubbles exploded with color, seeping into one another. These watercolor drawings capture a moment frozen in time, depicting the dynamic and vibrant action of a rupture. The paintings explore the interplay between containment and release, embodying the delicate balance between tension and liberation.
